We are a family of Veterans with combined years of combat and non-combat service totaling over 125 years, crossing the borders of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Korea, the Persian Gulf, and Panama.
We are proud Americans and we are proud of those who continue to sacrifice for our freedom. We cater specifically to those soldiers and their families living in and visiting Fort Lee, Virginia and its adjacent tri-cities; Petersburg, Colonial Heights, and Hopewell.
To honor Veterans and their spouses, Scents of Cedar B&B offers a special Veteran’s Tribute Package which includes a 2-night stay in the room of their choice at a discount of 15% nightly. You are welcomed on the day of arrival with a batch of All American, Home-made Chocolate Chip Cookies, and Sparkling Apple Cider made in Virginia, and roasted peanuts locally grown and cultivated by generations of Virginia farmers. Included in this package is also a full breakfast each morning of your stay. See our Breakfast Menu for available selections.
As part of the Veteran’s Tribute Package, special accommodations are made to assist out-of-state family members attending one of the many Advanced Individual Training (AIT) program graduations at Fort Lee. The Scents of Cedar B&B is located approximately 15 minutes from Fort Lee. Transportation to and from the graduation events is included in the package. This saves the inconvenience of registering for the mandatory DoD Vehicle Registration Decal for privately owned vehicles and rental cars.
The cost of the 2-night Veteran’s Tribute Package is $242.50. For those guests traveling by air and arriving at Richmond International Airport, transportation to and from the B&B can also be arranged for a fee of $25.00 for each round trip.
See http://www.lee.army.mil for a listing of graduations from the Ordnance School, Joint Culinary Center of Excellence, Transportation School, Petroleum & Water School, Marine Ordnance School, Mortuary Affairs, Aerial Delivery & Field Services, Logistics & Supply. See http://www.alu.army.mil for contact information at the US Army Logistics University.
As an optional add-on to the Veteran’s Tribute Package, the Scents of Cedar B&B will host a celebratory dinner for the graduate and guests at $25.00 per person. See our Dinner Menu for available selections.
On the November 11th observance of Veteran’s Day each year, the Scents of Cedar B&B offers one free night’s stay to a Veteran and their spouse, active duty or retired. This is on a first come, first served basis. A valid Military ID is required. A special Red, White and Blue Breakfast is prepared.
